Iván Martín is today recognized by critics and the public as one of the most brilliant pianists of his generation inside and outside our borders. He collaborates with practically all the Spanish orchestras, as well as with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Berliner Konzerthausorchester, Paris Orchestra, Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Virtuosi, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonia Warsaw, Monterey Symphony Orchestra (USA), Santiago de Chile Symphony Orchestra, Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra, World Musical Youth Orchestra, etc.

 

He’d been choosed by directors such as Gerd Albrecht, Max Bragado, Josep Caballé Domenech, Marzio Conti, Justin Brown, Christoph Eschenbach, Andrew Gurlay, Günter Herbig, Peter Halffter, Lü Jia, Vladimir Jurowsky, Christoph König, Jean Jacques Kantorow, Kirill Karabits, Adrian Leaper, Paul Mann, Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez, Juanjo Mena, Roberto Montenegro, John Neschling, Josep Pons, Alejandro Posada, Christophe Rousset, Antoni Ros Marba, George Pehlivanian, Michael Sanderling, Mic Hael Schønwandt, Dima Slobodeniouk, Georges Tchitchinadze or Antoni Wit.

 

He is being repeatedly invited to participate in such prominent scenarios as “New York International Keyboard Festival” (USA), “Orford International Music Festival” (Canada), “Festival International La Roque d’Anthéron “(France),” International Festival La Folle Journée “(France and Spain),” International Festival of Great Pianists “(Chile),” International Cervantino Festival “(Mexico),” Macao International Festival “( China), “International Festival of Music and Dance of Granada” (Spain), “International Festival of Music of Perelada” (Spain) or “Canary Music Festival” (Spain), visiting the most prestigious concert halls of the World as are Berliner Konzerthaus, Berliner Staatsoper, Berliner Philharmonie, Dortmund Konzerthaus, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Salle Pleyel in Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York or Beijing National Center for Perfor ming Arts.

 

He also collaborates with Patrimonio Nacional of Spain, offering concerts in the Royal Sites. He has starred in premieres and performed works by composers such as Antón García Abril, Cristóbal Halffter, Pedro Halffter, Pilar Jurado, Alberto Martínez, Daniel Roca, Ramón Paus or, more recently, Enric Palomar or Michael Nyman, from whom he has premiered his concerts for piano and orchestra.
